    Hi folks,





    Um not new to Aquariums but new to Salt, just setup a 28G cube to give it a try so be warned the crazy questions will be coming from me for awhile,

    Welcome. I have a cube too. It's a great size to get feet wet and used to the water parameters and maintenance. Just remember patience and RO water only. :)

    Welcome Merle, there are plenty of good people here to help you along.
    If you have no plans Saturday, jump in your car and head for Des Moines, Saturday is the clubs spring fest at the fair grounds----a great place for you to meet a lot of reef addicts and where you can learn a bunch of info to help you get started.

    If you have some free time this weekend you should try and make it to Spring Fest. It is a lot of fun, a great place to buy all kinds of things for your tank, listen to informative speakers and a good way to meet the people you will be talking with on GIRS.

    You can always post in the quad cities region page to see if anyone is carpooling to Spring Fest if that is something that would help you get there.
