ISO 20 Gallon tank for sump

I am looking for a 20 gallon tank to use for creating a sump, my 29G will not fit in the stand. I would be willing to trade the new 29 Gallon I just bought at Petco. I never resealed a tank so I woudl prefer it to hold water and not need to be resealed. I am in the Cedar Rapids or Iowa City area and am not wanting to travle too far.

Really? Nobody in the area has a extra 20 gallon? I am wiling to pay, I am not looking for a handout, I just did not want to pay full price at Petco or Walmart.

 

I have two 20 gallon long aquariums, I'm willing to sell one. It already has sides and back painted black, and is drilled in back for a 1" overflow. I'll throw in the bulkhead. Tank integrity is all there, no scratches in front glass, perfect for a sump. $30 I'm in Ames, but would be headed your way for fall fest (November 15th). 815-520-1896

 

Justin I will consider this if I do not have one by that time. i am not sure how/if I would use the overflow. I will contact you before the Frag fest if I do not have a tank by that time.

 

Ouch! Petco wants $39.99 for a 20 Gallon Long tank. How much longer until the $1 per gallon sale is on again?

 

Borky00: Sure, sounds goodL As for using the overflow: I just put a plug in the bulkhead.

 

I have one you can take off my hands. It's nothing pretty but holds water. No lid. And its old. Would say late 90's. But it's free if you come get it. I'm in Ankeny. Txt me 5634199204

braz being older does it follow the standard measurements 30x12x12? I am worried it will not fit in my stand. Can you measure it for me please?
