Craigslist Posting Closed Pet Store

Weird question but has anyone seen the listing for the closed (I'm guessing) pet store on Craigslist? I want to say down in Ottumwa. Emailed the person just wanting to see of anyone has been down there and if it would be worth the drive.
Not just for fish equipment but for cat and dog supplies as well.

 

I'm from that area originally it was a lil dirt hole but I know someone else bought it and I'm unsure if they cleaned it up but my mother did buy a tank from there not long ago I could ask her if she thinks it's worth the drive if you'd like

 

Yeah that would be cool. Didn't see any reviews or anything like that...but just looking more for a road trip than anything else probably.

 

The store that closed I think had a auction.It was not really a very nice store when it was open.The guy didn't have any saltwater fish or any thing really for saltwater when I went there. And its been closed for awhile now. So not sure what your wanting to go see there but I thought he sold everything but will look to see if I can find his add on craigslist.

If its the one I am thinking, its called Toms I think. It is located in La Salle. I was not impressed myself. felt more like a feed store then a pet store.

I think it's in ottumwa and it was called companion pets my mom said it was a total dive and smelled really bad so I don't know if it would be worth the trip but if you do go there's a new pet store in town there called Randys with a small saltwater selection might be worth a stop if your already there

 

The one in ottumwa was called companion pets that has closed. Its been closed for awhile. Randys is not a bad place its clean and great people to talk to and will try to get what ever you want. He has 4 tanks with saltwater I stop in there when they are open and I'm in town.

 

Yep companion pets. However the other one in Maquoketa sounded pretty decent. Didn't make it there. But will try tomorrow.

 

Yep contacted them today and they said open this week...closed next week for packing and marking down prices.
