30g Rimless Frag Display Tank (#2)

This is another one just like the one I made for Matt Nelsen.  36" x 24" x 8" tall rimless, with overflow in the back.  This will also come with a frag rack system of 15 racks, stackable for putting in 5g buckets.




Just the walls shown here.  Not shown is the black bottom or overflow.
Next step is squaring the small piece (the ends) and cutting both pieces in half.

 

Those stackable racks for a bucket are nice Bud /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

 

No pics, but an update.

Got all the pieces cut, squared, and edge prepped. Only need to finish the overflow fence. That gets bonded in before the bottom goes on, it's dimensionally right but need to drill the pump return hole and route the notch. That's happening today or this weekend.

kind of. I hang my head in shame at imperfection. I somehow ended up with the overflow fence 1/16" short and had to put in a gusset. Then I bonded the fence to the gusset.



Should turn out fine in the end and if I didn't just tell you, you probably wouldn't even notice. But it totally pissed me off.

Just a flush trim and round tomorrow, then a quick sand and buff and she's done!
