And if anyone has any tips on what they are doing or their parameters they are keeping theirs at and would like to post that would be really helpful to me. This is my first “designer” acro :)

I wish I knew!!! I've always struggled with getting polyp extension. My cali tort - one of my centerpieces - and many folks here have frags of it - I have almost no polyp extension. Yet it start to have have polyp extension when placed in other folks talks. Go figure. My best guess is flow. @Sponge@Sponge - has always told me I need more flow. I have been increasing flow over the last couple of years - and I now have polyp extension of several of my new pieces - like the OP. My sunset milli has huge polyp extension as does my walt disney. Maybe even a bit on my cali tort.
