135 reef getting ready to flip the switch

Got the tank and stand on craigslist and it was trashed had to sand it down and polish that took a week.. Guy had a puffer that put little scrathes on every square inch of the tank I had to take it down to 360 grit then up to 4000 what a process, but it turned out great. Once that's down it time for filling the tank and running the pumps to get the bad stuff out after the polishing was done. Last night was aquascaping and sand. Got 60 gallons in and waiting on the RO/DI

I can't wan't it's going to be christmas at my house next weeked.

Ordered

Reef Octopus diablo

apex full controller

Rapid LED retro fit kit

Coralife 36 watt UV

next week Tunze 6105's

Don't forget the heater(s), your also gonna need to order the cable that goes from your Tunze's to the Apex.

 

I think I've got the heaters covered from an old system. What cables are you referring to from the tunzes to the apex I haven't heard of those yet

 

In order to control your pumps via the Apex your going to need these:

You could make a cable but by the time you figure parts, shipping, time you might as well just spend the $20



Without this interface cable your pumps are just ging to run at 100% which totally defeats the purpose of buying controllable pumps.

 

Got the apex up and running today and finished the plumbing.
